Rebecca Hoover, CPA, CGMA

Rebecca Hoover is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is the managing partner of the accounting firm, Hoover & Hoover, CPAs. Ms. Hoover's firm provides a variety of accounting and accounting related services to individuals and small to medium size firms.

These services include:

  • Compilations (For Profit and Non-profit)
  • Monthly Accounting
  • Tax Planning and Preparation for Businesses and Individuals
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Performing as a part-time controller

Rebecca Hoover, CPAMs. Hoover graduated from North Carolina State University cum laude with a B.A. degree in Accounting.

While a student at the University, she was inducted into the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society in recognition of her high scholastic achievement. For a period of several years after graduation and prior to the establishment of her firm, Hoover & Hoover, CPAs, she was employed by or served as a consultant to several local CPA firms.

Ms. Hoover is a member of:

  • American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
  • The North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants
  • The Triangle Chapter of the N.C. Association of Certified Public Accountants
  • The Institute of Management Accountants

She was appointed by the President of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants to the Association's Accounting and Auditing Committee for three consecutive years and to its Practice Management Committee for four consecutive years.

She, also, served as Chairperson of the Continuing Education Committee of the Triangle Chapter of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants for four years, and she served as president to the Board of Directors of the Triangle Chapter of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants during 1998-99.

In 1994-95 Ms. Hoover served as President of the North Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She received the President's Award for 1991-92 for her devotion and tireless efforts in promoting and supporting NAWBO.

In 2012 she received the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation by the AICPA and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
